The Data Architect will oversee the creation of metadata and registries, standardize data naming conventions, define consistent data definitions and business rules, and monitor overall data quality. You'll lead the evaluation and selection of data management infrastructure components, ensuring they meet our high standards. As a senior subject matter expert, you'll drive enterprise data acquisition and business intelligence strategies. Additionally, you'll actively participate in technical evaluation meetings to enhance data flow and communication processes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead the Data Governance Program to maintain data integrity and reliability.
Facilitate enterprise systems design and architecture to support our evolving data needs.
Analyze system issues and recommend improvements.
Participate in the IDS Committee to drive strategic data initiatives.
Skills / Qualifications Required
Strong IT industry knowledge with expertise in application development, servers, networks, and databases.
Familiarity with various operating systems and healthcare data processing techniques.
Proficiency in architecting internet and client-server systems.
Experience in integrating and managing communication platforms.
Excellent process mapping, presentation, written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong adherence to timelines.
Knowledge of how IT solutions address business challenges and industry-specific trends.
Skills / Qualifications Desired
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field (preferred).
Seven (7) years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, internet/client-server systems, and RDBMS.
