Data Analytics and Market Intelligence Analyst

Bristow Group is seeking a dynamic, ambitious solution developer who is excited to participate in the development and execution of sales operations strategies. This role is a trusted advisor to the global Commercial team, providing insightful analysis and market intelligence to drive innovation and effectiveness. This role plays a pivotal part in defining processes, ensuring alignment, and optimizing data integrity, while fostering cross-functional collaboration. This role will aide in the development of innovative solutions by providing analytical support around rig, FPSO, and aircraft data, along with developing and providing sales operations training, and managing the Salesforce Platform. They will build, configure, and automate technology solutions to deliver business value, using Power BI, Excel, Salesforce, and other technology. The role will work with Area Managers and Commercial team in providing structure to the internal sales process by defining system requirements and ensuring data integrity.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Commercial Team with internal sales operations support around Salesforce data management, reports, market data, aircraft modeling, and industry analysis.
  • Work closely with other departments to support the development of Board material.
  • Ensure the internal Sales approval process is being followed with Salesforce department approvals, leadership review and approval, and auditable collective document review.
  • Provide as needed training for systems and processes.
  • Work jointly with Commercial and Legal to understand and link our database of our commercial contracts with Salesforce.
  • Champion Salesforce CRM platform, ensure information is updated timely and accurately, and produce reports as necessary.
  • Conduct strategic analysis to identify emerging market trends, customer strategy, competitor analysis, innovation developments, and other key insights by staying informed of current business and economic developments and other relevant information.
  • Gather and analyze raw data and create innovative analytic datasets to support business needs, leveraging industry knowledge and software tools.
  • Track and report market leading indicators, tender activities, and customer requirements
  • Track and report market analysis including rig and FPSO activity.
  • Work with the Commercial team to track and maintain market share analysis.
  • Develop key competitor analysis around global fleet identifying active, idle, and under maintenance capacity.
  • Other projects as required and directed by management to support business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience


Experience:

  • Able to work in a corporate environment with Commercial teams, Business Development, Planning, Operations, and/ or FP&A

Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce or other Sales management software would be useful
  • Familiar with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
  • Be willing to undertake travel as required
