Job Summary

BDA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Web Data Analyst to join our Digital Product Management team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, and a deep understanding of ecommerce web metrics. The primary responsibility of this role is to gather, analyze, and interpret web data to drive insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of web data from various sources (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Commerce, CRM systems, etc.).
  • Analyze web traffic metrics, user behavior, and engagement patterns to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present key findings and performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics tracking frameworks.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve marketing strategies, content performance, and overall web presence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web analytics and data visualization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) working as a data analyst in an ecommerce environment, preferably with B2B experience
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and familiarity with tag management systems.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to create meaningful reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Notes

This individual will need to be self-motivated and excited about building a web analytics capability for BDA from the ground up. They will need to be a leader who is not afraid to stand their ground and defend their work. They will also need to be an educator with the ability to uplevel the organization around data-driven decision making.

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
