Client Overview: Vernovis is currently partnering with a local construction company to bring in a Data Analyst to add to the team.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize key business metrics and insights.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data-driven solutions and reports.
• Conduct thorough data validation and quality control to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis.
• Work with business leaders to understand their challenges and gather requirements for improvement.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and effectively communicate this information with management.
• Challenge the status quo and help guide entrepreneurial innovation in analytical products and curate new data sources elevating analytics beyond data reporting and dashboarding to deliver actionable insights.
• Continue the development and maintenance of legacy reporting until a more modern approach can replace them.

What Experience You'll Have:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data analyst role, specifically using Tableau, Python, and SQL
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to Innovate and drive improvement
• Strong Microsoft Excel skillset
• Excellent documentation skills
• Tableau, Power BI or another Business Intelligent tool expertise.
• Deep understanding of the ETL (extract, transform, load) process.
• Experience transforming data through field mapping, programmatic rulesets, and data integrity checking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work within a small cohesive team
• Independent thinker/learner
