Data Analyst

Software Methods is seeking a full-time Data Analyst to assist our client in the Media, PA area. This is 100% on-site.

The Data Analyst will primarily be responsible for supporting both the internal sales team and external customers through data analytics, business modeling, and report generation. The position may also include assisting in the implementation of new systems or applications to improve the analytical capabilities of the sales team, and other initiatives to support departmental decision-making and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting with executives and other business leaders to identify improvement opportunities
• Creating reports for internal teams, external clients and/or stakeholders
• Collaborating with team members to collect and analyze data
• Visualizing data with graphs, infographics and other methods
• Establishing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
• Structuring large data sets to find usable information
• Processing information with a team of analysts and other associates
• Crafting presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Perform other such tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of related working experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business priorities
• Attention to detail and quality
• Strong MS Office competency

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with databases
• Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, etc.)
