Compensation: $40-$45/Hour

Role Overview

Kroger is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support a pivotal project. As key stakeholders in this initiative, Kroger is transitioning from a legacy system to a new format, relying heavily on data-driven insights to validate improvements and drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze data to formulate business strategies and prioritize project initiatives.
• Conduct gap analysis and process mapping to optimize procedures and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Kroger's technology team, to ensure project alignment and success.
• Gather and consolidate data from multiple sources to provide cohesive insights.
• Present findings through clear and compelling data visualizations and reports.

Key Skills Required

1. Strong SQL Foundation: Proficiency in SQL is essential for data extraction and analysis.
2. Power BI: Minimum 2 years of experience in developing robust dashboards and reports, preferably in a professional environment. Samples of previous Power BI work are highly recommended.
3. Advanced Excel: Mastery of Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and engage with stakeholders.
5. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful conclusions.

Qualifications

• Experience with process mapping and familiarity with Six Sigma principles (Green Belt certification is advantageous).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
• Organized approach to data analysis and reporting.
