Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce is seeking a Data Analyst in Herndon, VA to povide data analysis support across multiple projects leveraging people data from many different data sources. This position is fully remote. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creating samples or working datasets from large, complex data tables
• Working with complex datasets with SQL (e.g., merging, querying, refining, cleaning, summarizing)
• Conducting descriptive analyses with layers of complexity (e.g., subsets, timeframes, groupings)
• Solving complex problems in data queries (e.g., how to merge data sources with different periodicity or other groupings)
  
  

Requirements

• BS/BA degree and 2-4+ years of relevant experience
• MS degree and 0-2+ years experience
• Without degree, 8-10 years of relevant work experience
• Strong data management expertise
• Strong SQL expertise
• Advanced skills with Excel (e.g., building pivot tables, charts)
• Familiarity with inferential statistics or between-group analytics (e.g., ANOVA, regressions)
• Experience with sophisticated analytic techniques (e.g., logistic regression, modeling, machine learning) - preferred
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
