Cycle Counter

Essential Functions

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Perform physical inventory counts with a high degree of accuracy
• Help maintain inventory accuracy by being key player in cycle count program
• Understand warehouse layout and procedures to insure complete count
• Verify part identification accuracy and location
• Maintain count records
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory reports
• Effectively communicate inventory counts/issue/concerns with all levels of personnel
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  
  

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Experience

• 2 years’ experience in a warehouse distribution environment
• Prior inventory or cycle counting experience is a plus
  
  

Education

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Minimum.
  
  

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Computer Skills

• Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Outlook (email)
• Multi-task
• Interface with all levels of personnel
• Strong Mathematical Skills
• Read and write
• Communicate effectively
• Problem solving skills
• Work overtime when needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Position requires that you are siting/standing/walking/bending/stooping the majority of the day and you must be able to lift/push/pull up to 10 pounds.
• Vision (Near, Distance, Depth Perception); Sense or Touch
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety glasses, hearing protection in some cases.)

Geographic Reach

Based in the greater Philadelphia, PA area, Lasko Products operates in locations throughout the US and Canada. The company’s Tennessee, Texas, and Pennsylvania manufacturing facilities produce both indoor and outdoor fans and heaters. The company also sources select products internationally from China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, and India. Lasko operates distribution centers in all manufacturing locations plus Nevada and Ohio.
