Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage the organization's cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Monitor network traffic for unusual activities and implement effective intrusion detection and prevention systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls for new and existing systems.
Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure proactive defense measures.
Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and provide detailed incident reports.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's infrastructure.
Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for employees to enhance the overall security posture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
Experience with security assessment tools, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls.
Strong understanding of encryption, VPNs, firewalls, antivirus, and other security-related technologies.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
