IntePros is currently looking for a Cyber Security Lead to join one of our growing medical device clients in Telford, PA. The Cyber Security Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cyber security within the organization. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, managing EDR and MDR tools, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cyber security, project management, and the ability to manage security across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the company’s cyber security strategy. Ensure robust security measures are in place to protect against cyber threats.
• Oversee daily security operations, including monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. Utilize EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and MDR (Managed Detection and Response) tools effectively.
• Lead and manage cyber security projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of security initiatives.
• Manage cyber security for multiple sites and facilities, ensuring consistent security protocols and compliance across all locations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver cyber security training programs for employees. Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the company’s operations. Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery. Document and report security incidents and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
• Manage and optimize the use of security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management solutions.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are preferred.
