Customer Service Representative - Remote

Join our team as a Remote Customer Service Representative and play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our patients. Working from the comfort of your own home, you'll engage with patients over the phone to assist them with their medical bills. This dynamic position involves operating within a fast-paced call center environment, where you'll establish contact with customers, negotiate payments, and arrange payment plans to ensure timely collection of account receivables.

Duties/Responsibilities

Provide outstanding patient service on behalf of our clients

Engage with patients via telephone to facilitate payment of medical bills

Deliver accurate information to patients in a clear, concise, and professional manner

Review patient accounts and document interactions and feedback

Negotiate reasonable payment solutions with customers

Arrange patient payments via check, electronic transfer, or credit card

Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Meet or exceed established performance goals

Collaborate closely with team leads, management, and clients to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfaction

Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills/Knowledge

Customer-centric approach with a focus on client satisfaction

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity

Strong teamwork orientation and ability to collaborate effectively

Basic computer proficiency

Education/Experience

Prior experience in customer service is preferred

Previous experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle is highly desirable

High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required

One to two years of college education preferred
