Currently, we are seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative to assist patients with their medical billing inquiries and payments.
Responsibilities
Provide courteous and empathetic customer service to patients on behalf of our clients.
Contact patients via telephone to discuss and facilitate payment for medical bills.
Deliver accurate information to patients in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Document patient interactions and feedback meticulously.
Negotiate fair and reasonable payment arrangements with patients.
Process payments through various methods, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit cards.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures diligently.
Meet or exceed established performance goals.
Collaborate closely with team leads, management, and clients to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfaction.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
Strong customer/client focus with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic computer proficiency required.
Education And Experience
Prior customer service experience preferred.
Previous experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management strongly desired.
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required.
One to two years of college education preferred.
Additional Requirements
Must be comfortable working in a virtual environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to technological requirements of the position.
