Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our client’s growing team. This multifaceted role involves managing all customer service functions and providing internal sales support. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Receive, enter, and process customer orders.
  • Communicate with assigned customers regarding order status and details.
  • Provide customers with sales and marketing documentation, including price lists, contracts, and project activities.
  • Address customer product inquiries and manage issues such as delays, returns, credits, or replacement orders to ensure satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot invoice and shipping issues to ensure prompt and accurate updates and paperwork.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing and Warehouse teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled to their satisfaction.
  • Interface with other plant locations regarding intercompany transfers and direct customer shipments.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction, sales processes, and facility performance.
  • Manage certification functions by processing raw materials/packaging items and converting them into finished goods in the ERP system.
  • Provide backup for office activities and other tasks as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and practices.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP computer systems for order entry and invoicing, experience with E21 a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
  • High energy and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to retain details and accurately complete tasks on the first attempt.
  • Ability to lead and adapt to frequent changes in work environment and prioritization.
