Optimal Home Care is currently hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline of our agency, providing exceptional service and support to our clients.

At Optimal Home Care, we are committed to delivering the best home health care services to our clients. Our agency is Medicare and Medicaid certified, as well as CHAP Accredited, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards in the industry. With a focus on skilled nursing, behavior health nursing, physical/occupational/speech therapy, medical social work, and home health aide services, we strive to provide personalized care to improve our clients' quality of life.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns. You will assist clients in scheduling appointments, coordinating services, and ensuring a positive experience. Your friendly and professional demeanor will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a courteous and timely manner
  • Provide information and assistance to clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate healthcare services
  • Resolve issues and address concerns by investigating, escalating, and following up as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless experience for clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and regulations to provide accurate information

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and compassion towards clients and their families
