This role will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and service delivery. This role will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our customer service department, including but not limited to, order fulfilment, customer relations, and complaint resolution. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in food manufacturing and customer service management. The role also demands proficiency in CPG, Food, ERP, EDI, OTIF, relationship, communication, excel, and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire customer service department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer relations, addressing complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain teams to ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery of orders.
- Utilize ERP and EDI systems effectively to manage customer orders and inventory.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on customer service performance.
- Train and mentor customer service team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service management role within the food manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), Food, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and OTIF (On Time In Full) principles.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management in the food manufacturing industry.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
