Join our client’s growing team as a Customer Service Manager in Union County, NJ. This full-time role involves leading and managing a team of customer service representatives to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. The Customer Service Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, resolve escalated issues, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Location: Union County, NJ
Compensation: $90,000 – $115,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Customer Service Manager:
Leadership and Team Development: Supervise and mentor a team of 7-9 customer service representatives (CSRs), providing coaching and fostering a positive and collaborative environment for individual growth and team cohesion.
Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient order entry processes, promptly address errors, and monitor KPIs to achieve departmental goals in collaboration with the Customer Service Supervisor.
Customer Engagement: Support CSRs with tools and resources, and facilitate communication between the Customer Service team and other departments to enhance service delivery.
Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Leadership Team to align customer service initiatives with business objectives, driving improvements in service quality, consistency, and customer experience.
Qualifications for the Customer Service Manager:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 5-10 years in customer service roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attributes: Excellent management, supervisory, communication, organizational skills, and a strong focus on team development and performance improvement.
