About The Job

We currently have openings for full-time Customer Retention Representatives. No prior customer service experience is necessary as we provide competitive wages and comprehensive paid training. This role is perfect for individuals who are outgoing, customer-focused, and interested in working remotely from home.

Primary Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls from policyholders looking to discuss or cancel their insurance benefits.

Address inquiries regarding coverage, premiums, and other policy-related information.

Utilize effective written and verbal communication skills, including composing business correspondence.

Demonstrate autonomy in decision-making and judgment while interacting with customers.

Initiate outbound calls to policyholders for overdue premium payments.

Reinforce policy benefits to retain existing customers and deliver outstanding service.

Employ various sales techniques to enhance policyholder retention rates.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions for reporting and transactional purposes.

Utilize appropriate telephone etiquette and communication skills in extensive telephone contact.

Exercise discretion and sensitivity in providing customer service.

Schedule and Benefits

Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend shifts.

Additional production incentive pay available after training.

Bilingual (Spanish) skills earn an hourly pay differential.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Heavy use of phones and PCs.

Prolonged periods of sitting.

Occasional reaching above shoulder level.

Potential for overtime as needed.

Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to resolve complex customer issues with a positive demeanor.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Familiarity with life and/or health insurance terminology preferred.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

Required Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

Previous experience in a call center environment is advantageous.

Prior knowledge of insurance and/or sales is beneficial.
