The Customer Business Manager is tasked with the development and expansion of existing accounts, alongside the discovery and establishment of new retail alliances. This position demands a comprehensive grasp of the full range of product offerings, including their functions and advantages. The role involves strategic negotiation to secure advantageous pricing and selection of merchandise for fresh listings and broadening of categories throughout the company’s product range. Some travel will be required. Blended Schedule with working remote one day a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Forge and sustain influential connections with premier retail entities, negotiating agreements that cater to their strategic needs and guaranteeing their contentment.
  • Enhance the company’s proprietary and affiliated product assortments, aiming to surpass financial goals through innovative distribution strategies.
  • Craft and execute a strategic plan for account and territory management to pinpoint and secure new retail partnerships.
  • Analyze sales data comprehensively to grasp market tendencies, identify avenues for growth, and influence tactical planning.
  • Collaborate with retail and brokerage partners to forecast client demand, ensuring a seamless supply chain and inventory readiness.
  • Possess an expert-level understanding of the product suite, utilizing this knowledge to communicate the unique selling points effectively to the customer base.
  • Provide consultative support to clients for their current and pipeline projects, facilitate the RFP process, and manage ongoing engagement.
  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns and trade activities to elevate product visibility, drive sales growth, and increase brand presence.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure cohesive support for sales-related activities.
  • Employ internal reporting tools to track and analyze sales performance, presenting insights to leadership and initiating improvement measures where necessary.
  • Commit to delivering superior customer service, promptly addressing queries, resolving any issues, and maintaining a high standard of customer relations.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, marketing, or similar.
  • 3+ years in sales and CPG.
  • Experience in Trade Promotion Planning
  • Analytical, strategic, data-savvy.
  • Organized, efficient, multitasker.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Open to travel for client meetings, events.
  • Strong communicator, presenter.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced settings.
