The Custodian is a full-time position working 40 hours per week and reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The Custodian will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the men's and women's locker rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and other areas as well as sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining all common areas, halls, etc. This position must maintain a list of custodial supplies and inform management when new supplies are required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Collect and take out trash from offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, and other areas.
Sweep and mop hard surfaced areas and operate floor scrubber when needed.
Clean and sanitize toilets and sinks.
Restock disposable items (e.g. soap, paper towel).
Clean windows and mirrors.
Clean and sanitize Men's & Women's locker rooms
Execute all other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Education, And Skills
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
1-3 years of related custodial experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment/appliances.
Knowledge of safe and hazardous chemicals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
Ability to work in a self-directed manner (3rd Shift Only)
Effective time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
Must be comfortable working with high-temperature water for sanitizing.
Bending and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
A combination of the above shall also be considered.
