Position: Custodian

Wage: $19.78 p/h, full time/40 hours a week

Schedule: Sundays through Thursdays, 8am - 4pm. This position requires a late night shift every few months for deep-cleaning of the store deli.

Location: This position works between both River Rock store locations.

Applicants must be 21 years or older.

Job Duties

Our custodial staff provides the highest level of cleaning for both interior and exterior areas of River Rock Tobacco & Fuel stores. Job duties an responsibilites include:

• Carpet Care
• Hard-surface floor cleaning & maintenance
• Clean and restock of paper products for lobby, breakrooms, offices, smoke break areas and restroom, cleaning/restocking.
• Clean and sanitize fuel dispensers.
• Do lot checks to pick up debris
• Clean/sanitize entryway glass and handles.
• Dusting and window washing
• Waste removal.
• Other various Custodian duties.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Current training on how to operate and maintain, the following equipment Dupray Steam Cleaner, Endeavor Commercial Tile and Carpet Steam Extraction Machine, Orreck High Speed Orbiter Multi-floor machines. As well as basic housekeeping equipment.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy for all staff and customers.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and when necessary independently and without supervision.
• Must be reliable and exercise excellent attendance.
• Must adhere to Stillaguamish policies and procedures set out by the Tribe.
  
  

Physical Demands

• Occasionally involves sedentary work.
• Frequently involves light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force and/or up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force to move objects.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Constantly requires the ability to give and receive detailed information through verbal communication.

• Constantly requires working with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm.

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or be willing to obtain one within two year per period.
• Some Computer skills and preferably MS Office.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to interact in a positive demeanor.
• Comfortable in a constantly changing environment, flexible and adaptable.
• Current Washington State Driver’s License and ability to be approved by the Tribal insurance to drive Tribal vehicles.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug test (pre-hire drug test does not test for THC).
