Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for the daily cleaning duties of the building and will maintain cleaning supplies, breakroom material and paper goods inventory. The custodian will report to the general manager and be tasks will be assigned beyond daily duties as needed. This a full-time day shift position.

Responsibilities:

• Duties will include cleaning and maintaining restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, offices and manufacturing/ production area
• Clean carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, polishing, etc.
• Dusting furniture, pictures, ventilation, lights
• Emptying wastebaskets,
• Cleaning windows and blinds
• Maintain inventory of all supplies for cleaning, kitchen, and paper goods
• Assist with set up and take down of company events
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous janitor and custodian experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Must be able to move constantly, bend, lift, push pull up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Comfortable cleaning high and low spaces in an office, production, manufacturing and warehouse setting
• Able to use cleaning products safely and follow product instructions
• Must willing to complete all tasks that are assigned
• Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by supervisor
