Job Summary

Provides administrative and technical support to the Curriculum Support Office (CSO) and campus community stakeholders. Supports department processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of curriculum information managed by this office. Assists with updating and editing undergraduate and graduate catalogs.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support to the department for daily office operations
  • Provides customer support to curriculum stakeholders, including but not limited to responding to resource account emails
  • Investigates concerns and collaborates with team on appropriate solutions
  • Provides administrative support to university curriculum committees including but not limited to preparing the annual schedule, distributing meeting agendas and minutes, and archive meeting materials on the department webpage
  • Maintains curriculum committee rosters on curriculum listservs, Curriculog, and online reports
  • Collaborates with faculty to maintain state licensure database
  • Conducts daily Curriculog tasks and modify and maintain catalog templates
  • Maps and runs imports and exports between Curriculog and Acalog
  • Maintains approval process forms and routing information
  • Assists with the development of training materials and conducts virtual and in-person trainings
  • Collaborates with Academic Affairs curriculum team to organize and edit curriculum data

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Required Experience

Two (2) years of experience related to the position

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a higher education setting

Experience using data systems, electronic publishing, and online and print document design processes

Previous experience using MS Office and Adobe Acrobat to edit online documents and hard copies

Experience with Acalog, Curriculog, Banner and/or DegreeWorks

Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

Skills

Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, technology, organization, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, Curriculog, Acalog, Canvas Credentials, etc.)

Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills

Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette

Willingness to work collaboratively on a team to meet the goals of the larger group.
