Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Culinary Instructor, reporting to the Recipes for Success Program Director. The Culinary Instructor will be responsible for conducting culinary training, demonstrating baking and cooking techniques, and teaching culinary skills to both neurotypical and neurodivergent participants. The role will also involve managing catering projects and overseeing the catering program's operations.
Qualifications
Culinary Management and Training skills
Baking and Cooking skills
Knowledge of basic principles of nutrition
Strong culinary skills and expertise
Experience in teaching and training others in culinary techniques
Ability to create and develop culinary curriculum and lesson plans
Ability to understand budgeting and expense management
Basic knowledge of invoicing, staffing and and scheduling catering jobs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for working with nonprofit organizations
Relevant culinary certifications or degrees
