Culinary Director - Food & Beverage - Purchasing Background

Job Description

We are seeking a Culinary Director to join our team! The ideal candidate has experience in F&B Purchasing and negotiating prices and contracts with vendors. This candidate has prior experience as Culinary Director of an American style restaurant and is active in coaching and development of their team. You will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable dining experience. Car allowance is provided in year two, up to $7200 annually. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities and manage the rollout of new menus and specials
• Oversee Executive Chefs and provide corrective and complimentary feedback
• Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation occurs in every restaurant
• Train and manage Executive Chefs and Sous Chefs
• Evaluate current SOP's and update as needed
• Evaluate food cost action plans for accuracy and coach as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service as a Culinary Director
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to maintain composure during stressful times
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills, and has great listening skills
• Strong attention to detail
