We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and development as we continue to grow.
Position Overview
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of Family Kloud. This role is crucial for the company’s success, requiring a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology trends and the ability to lead and inspire a team. The CTO will work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to align technological initiatives with business goals. This is an equity role; the equity will be based on experience and milestone contributions. If proven successful, will lead to market rate salary plus equity. Equity will be equivalent to market salary.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
Technology Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the technology team, ensuring the successful development and implementation of innovative solutions.
Product Development: Oversee the development and delivery of products and services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the business and incorporating them into the company’s strategy where appropriate.
Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other executives, stakeholders, and clients to understand their needs and ensure the technology strategy supports and enhances the business.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of all technology systems and infrastructure.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective investment in technology initiatives and resources.
Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor and evaluate the performance of technology initiatives and teams.
Qualifications
Education: Not required, but preferred. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing technology strategies.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies.
Experience with software development, system architecture, and product management.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, data management, and cloud computing.
