A social-impact marketing and communications firm in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a CRM & Marketing Automation Coordinator to join their digital marketing team. This role can be fully remote or involve a flexible hybrid work model, requiring office presence twice a week in Alexandria, VA, or once a week in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities
Support and execute digital marketing strategies for clients, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Plan, design, and implement automated marketing campaigns, including email drips, lead nurturing workflows, and personalized customer journeys
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CRM and marketing automation systems with other tools and platforms
Build automated email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud's tools such as Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Email Studio
Develop and execute A/B tests and audience segmentation to deliver targeted and personalized marketing campaigns
Review and analyze email campaign performance data and generate regular reports, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
Administer and manage client CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Stay current with industry trends, digital marketing tools, and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least four years of relevant professional experience
Two or more years of experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and similar marketing automation tools
Proficiency with HTML and CSS; proficiency with AMPscript and JavaScript is a plus
Knowledge and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud for message design, subscriber and data management, inbox delivery, and external integrations
Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, and Mailchimp
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis
Familiarity with email compliance regulations
