Crisis Management and Business Continuity Manager

This position is responsible for the maintenance of the Company’s Crisis Management and Business Continuity plans and program expansion to cover all businesses globally. Point person within the Company for the resiliency program and with the Crisis Management and Business Continuity external consultants. This includes ownership of the Emergency Alert System (i.e., Everbridge) maintenance and roll out. Direct report to the VP, Global Risk Management & Business Continuity with matrix reporting to the Vice President, Administration, Corporate Shared Services – Office of the CEO.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of the business continuity program globally.
  • Partner with and influence business leaders to develop and maintain business continuity plans and program documentation.
  • Lead point person with consultants and Crisis Management and Business Continuity (CM/BC) internal leaders to coordinate all activities relating tabletop exercises and plan updates.
  • Build awareness of crisis management and business continuity programs, plan activities, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Partner with key senior personnel to align crisis management and business continuity plans with other preparedness programs (e.g., IT Disaster Recovery Plan, Global Safety & Security Emergency Response Plan, HR Pandemic Plan.)
  • Administer crisis management and business continuity plan tools and repositories.
  • Provide on-going support of crisis and business continuity plans during real life incidents.
  • Subject matter expert on crisis management and business continuity, including staying abreast of industry best practices, standards, and guidelines.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and continued roll out of the Company’s Emergency Alert System (i.e., Everbridge)
  • Ongoing quarterly training and/or drills for users and CM/BC teams, including the set-up of test notifications and assisting in simple tech support.
  • Overall maintenance, including user set up, maintenance, and deletion and regular, weekly updating of CM/BC teams.
  • Collaborate with HRIS for Workday TSMs and data updates.
  • Lead implementation of additional phases; update and utilize project plan, kickoff deck, and workbook that outlines roles, location specific templates, groups, and testing scenarios.
  • Post-go live responsibilities include maintaining Instructions & Tips, User Management, Workflow of an Incident folders and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Liaise with Everbridge for ongoing questions and act as intermediary to users.

WORK EXPERIENCE:


Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.


PREFERRED EDUCATION:


Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications.


TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.


The posted range for this position is $95,990 to $167,983 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.


This position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive] not reflected in the posted range.
