Crisis Hotline Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) - Remote | WFH

Job Summary

Our Crisis Hotline serves as the initial point of contact for the public, clients, community members, and providers. Calls, texts, and chats received through our main crisis number and the 988 National Suicide Crisis Lifeline are managed by Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) 24/7, including holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

As a QMHP, your key duties will include:

Handling crisis calls, texts, and chats with compassion and professionalism.

Providing crisis intervention services and conducting risk assessments.

Completing initial screenings to determine the appropriate level of care.

Offering information about our services and making community referrals.

Assisting with training programs as needed.

Connecting callers with appropriate service providers.

These responsibilities are performed under the supervision of a licensed clinician (LPHA) and with a strong focus on customer care. Our team collaborates closely with community partners such as local police departments, medical facilities, and schools to ensure comprehensive support.

Maintaining regular, predictable attendance.

Adapting to a flexible work schedule as needed.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Preferred: Master's degree.

License

Required: Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Experience

Preferred: Bilingual abilities and experience in crisis intervention and customer service.

Salary: $22.35 - $23.47 per hour based on education, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
