Criminal Investigator
Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
Conducts company-wide investigations regarding suspected violations of company policies, code of conduct, government regulations and expected behaviors.
Responds, assesses and takes appropriate actions during critical investigations.
Supports investigations, compliance, and risk mitigation through case management, metrics and root cause analysis, and training.
Prepares investigation reports, identifies root causes, and guides development of actions to address adverse findings.
Provides expertise, guidance, and counseling to key stakeholders and investigative partners on matters within the corporate investigations area.
Supports strategic business partner and Ethics initiatives.
Leads quality review and execution of Ethics and Business Conduct case management and investigations activity of a complex nature.
Leads development and implementation of data analysis in support of business partner engagements, ethics strategic initiatives, program improvements and risk mitigation.
Conducts complex investigations.
Gathers, analyzes data, and makes recommendations on operational improvements and risk mitigation.
Leads development of training programs, tools and methodologies.
Leads development and implementation of key Ethics initiatives.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years of experience conducting complex investigations and managing the investigative process to include conducting interviews, collecting data and facts, and analyzing to identify trends and/or discrepancies
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years of experience in conducting formal employee-related investigations
• 3+ years of experience in conducting investigations into workplace-related matters (e.g., harassment, discrimination, retaliation, threats, safety) and/or fraud-related matters (e.g., theft, time mischarging, production, quality)
• Experience conducting alleged misconduct investigations of union represented employees
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification or Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC) certification
