Credit Specialist

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Credit Specialist to join our team at our Corporate Office. As a Credit Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing credit evaluations, collections, and client interactions with precision and professionalism to deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Details:

· Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, based in our Corporate Office.

· Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough credit evaluations utilizing Dunn & Bradstreet and other tools.

· Enter and balance daily deposits, including Lockbox and ACH transactions.

· Manage and track purchase orders (POs) and funding to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

· Utilize Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) and Dynamics 365 (CRM) for financial data management.

· Monitor and adjust client credit limits based on financial assessments and business needs.

· Develop alternative payment methods or arrangements when credit extensions are denied.

· Communicate credit decisions and terms effectively with internal teams and external clients.

· Monitor accounts receivable aging report and prioritize collection activities accordingly.

· Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on past due invoices.

· Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to facilitate timely payments.

· Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.

· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collection efforts.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred.

· Experience in staffing or related industries is a plus.

· Familiarity with Dunn & Bradstreet and other credit evaluation tools.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting and data management.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
