Credit Manager

We have a well-known client located in greater Atlanta, GA seeking a Credit Manager to join their team. This organization has a strong leadership team in place which will provide strong mentorship as well as opportunities for future advancement.

Responsibilities:

• This role will be responsible for oversight over a team engaged in conducting credit investigations and collecting delinquent accounts of customers
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize credit processes and drive sales growth and cash flow
• Manage performance reviews for a team of credit assistants and senior credit assistants
• Monitor customer accounts and manage customer relations to resolve payment issues and disputes, negotiate payment plans and establish credit limits
• Implement process improvements to support the credit function
• Assists management in the formulation of credit policies
• Review doubtful accounts to determine collectability or if needed to be written off
• Implement appropriate steps to collect delinquent accounts

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of credit management experience
• 3-5 years of management experience
• Accustomed to working with Sales and customers
• Strong experience analyzing the financial statements
• Stable job tenure
• B2B experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
