The Credit & Collections Manager will play a key role in helping QuikQ mitigate risk while supporting our customers and channel partners. The ideal candidate will bring a variety of skills from traditional underwriting, interaction in our CRM system, handling credit increase requests, managing others, and reporting on all activities of the group. The Credit & Collections Manager must have the ability to represent our company positively to current and potential customers and partners. This position will be responsible for ensuring customers’ data is processed accurately, helping resolve issues quickly and satisfactorily, and processing of applications and other credit requests all with a keen eye on portfolio monitoring and ensuring QuikQ is adequately protected.


Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop an intimate knowledge of the industry and our products, system capabilities, & reporting
  • Perform general underwriting to include the use of commercial and personal credit reports and financial analysis of each applicant
  • Perform research on select applicants utilizing tools common for our industry (SAFER, etc.)
  • Provide application status updates to internal or external parties
  • Collaborate with sales and channel partners on structuring deals
  • Intake and resolve permanent or temporary credit line increase requests
  • Research credit related customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Monitor AR aging and take action as necessary
  • Assist in performing collections efforts as necessary
  • Manage a team of professionals to accomplish departmental goals
  • Monitor portfolio for overall health, reporting on changes and potential risks
  • Perform annual reviews of larger customers
  • Prepare various periodic reporting on all aspects of credit & collections functions
  • Perform all duties in accordance with written policies and delegation of authority
  • Other duties may be assigned


Other Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in associated field of studies preferred and 5-10+ years of professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior fuel card/payment/B2B underwriting experience preferred
  • Prior experience in managing credit & collections functions
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
  • Ability to effectively interact with and have difficult conversations with internal and external audiences of all levels
  • Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations
  • Ability to solve problems using data from multiple sources
  • High level of customer service and etiquette to quickly address internal or client concerns
  • Able to retain and protect confidential material
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SalesForce applications
