Job Description

Credit and Collections Specialist

Ø COMPENSATION: $55,000-$60,000 per year

Credit and Collections Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Timely collection of past due invoices
  • Resolve collections by examining customers payment plans, payment history, and credit line
  • Determine actions to take in collection of past due accounts
  • Verify accounts by reconciling transactions
  • Resolve customer disputes while developing strong customer relationships
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Process credit applications, including follow-up with credit references
  • Analyze and interpret credit data
  • Determine credit capacity
  • Identify potential credit risks
  • Solve problems relating to credit or financial issues

Credit and Collections Specialist Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Business-to-Business Credit and Collection experience required
  • Bachelors or Associates degree a plus
  • Knowledge of financial statements and cash application experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
