Title: Credit Administration Officer

Locations: Oklahoma City, OK

My client, a thriving community bank, is actively seeking a Credit Administration Officer to join their team as they continue to grow and expand their presence in Oklahoma. The Credit Administration Officer oversees clerical and administrative tasks for the bank's lending operation, including underwriting. This person will establish and supervise policies, provide guidance on loan processing, and ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with the Compliance Officer. They will also participate in loan officer training.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees team, assigns tasks, ensures training, and conducts annual reviews.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring thorough loan processing.
• Review loan proposals before submission, ensuring adherence to policy, and can halt loans lacking documentation or policy compliance.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and serve as the point of contact for audits and exams.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, revise loan policies, and oversee loan processing and servicing, including collateral administration.
• Evaluate and improve workflow for efficient and compliant loan administration, create exception reports, and manage loan servicing inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Credit Administration
• In depth knowledge of financial statements, credit memos, and C&I preferred
• Formal credit training/corporate banking experience strongly preferred
