What You’ll Do:

The Creative Production Manager plays a key role as the hub of Nexxen’s Creative Services. The manager works directly with clients, as well as Nexxen’s Account Management and Sales teams, and Creative designers and developers. They are responsible for managing the process of producing interactive video ads for large brands, from creative consultation, to asset collection, to assignment of projects, all the way through final approval. They must have great interpersonal skills, be able to handle a fast-paced environment, oversee multiple projects, and prioritize effectively.

Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily are.

  • Manage creative production of the Creative Solutions pipeline for assigned book of business, including supporting Creative Insights Studies communication with our Studio Insights team out of London
  • Advise clients on creative solutions and best practices for each campaign, as well as managing client expectations alongside the Sales and Client Success teams
  • Proactively upsell creative solutions internally to the Sales/Client Services Teams, and advocate creative solutions in market as opportunities arise
  • Drive creative requirements, project manage and coach a team of Interactive/Video Designers and Developers to continue supporting the creative services pipeline and continuous skill development and growth
  • Collaborate with different internal departments on problem solving client needs
  • Support inquiries on campaign performance based on internal creative best practices, and proactively find ways to optimize creatives to increase performance as needed
  • Occasionally meet with brands or agencies to speak to our creative solutions, as well as best practices consultations as needed
  • After 1 year in the role and depending on business needs, may directly manage at least one direct report depending on availability

Please note - We have a hybrid work model with the expectation of 3 days minimum in the local office to collaborate, innovate, and celebrate.

What Will I Bring?

  • 2+ years of managing production of some sort
  • Basic presentation skills, both internal and external/client-facing
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team within the Studio or in cross-departmental working groups
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Media Encoder capabilities
  • Interest in understanding of the principles of video and interactive video advertising, UI/UX, and digital user behaviors and trends across all screens
  • Basic knowledge of various video and digital file formats
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple campaigns and projects at a time
  • Ability and interest to learn emergent technology and design principles to grow team expertise
  • Strong visual sense, and ability to art direct and collaborate with others
  • Prior experience with any Content Management System
  • Previous experience developing VAST/VPAID video ad units
  • Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite especially, Adobe Animate, AfterEffects and knowledge of interactive/motion design best practices
  • Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization for video or display

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in (Chicago) is $75,000 - $90,000 at the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
