Position: Counselor II (QMHP)
Department: Youth and Family
Shift: Individual schedules can be determined with supervisor and within business needs/hours. In general, our agency provides services Mon-Fri from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
Salary Range: $64,147.20 - $81,078.40 (annual). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Summary
The Counselor II provides therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents, and families as assigned. Duties may vary per location/department. In this role, the Counselor II c onducts comprehensive clinical assessments as a part of the diagnostic process, reviews ongoing delivery of services, identifies individual client needs and diagnoses substance use and/or mental health disorders. In this role, the Counselor II may cover school based mental health services in a K-12 public school setting. Conducts individual, family and group sessions to provide therapeutic treatment, and behavior modification using evidence-based practice to assist clients in reaching treatment goals. As member of clinical staff and treatment teams, assists in case management and coordination of community resources to meet client needs.
