Cost Engineer

On Line Design is currently looking for a Cost Engineer with Industrial Machine and CPG specific work experience to either work in Cincinnati, OH or remotely with domestic travel to customer sites in the contiguous United States as needed. To successfully fulfill this role, you should have 3+ years of experience as a Cost Engineer and a degree in Construction Management or Engineering working within Food and Beverage, or CPG industries. In this role, you will work with estimating for industrial, construction and equipment installation projects. You will help to research and evaluate potential/future construction and installation projects for capital equipment and their respective facilities of installation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide solutions for projects such a plant upgrades and equipment installations that meet cost, time schedule, and overall quality standards
• Perform detailed project assessments and estimates that align with company policies and standards
• Assess risks related to the overall project
• Complete detailed estimates and coordinate with leadership to review

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction or Engineering
• 3+ years of project cost estimating experience
• Knowledge of construction and/or equipment installation projects
• Ability to understand and interpret industrial process and instrumentation diagrams
• Experience with Integrated Project Delivery methods preferred
• Strong working knowledge or mastery level knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
• Willingness to travel as need to sites
