Korn Ferry has partnered with a global organization on their search for their next Vice President of Human Resources located in the Southfield area to support a corporate client group. This is an excellent opportunity to provide strategic leadership of the HR function while contributing to executive-level planning and decision making to align HR strategy with the business strategy! The VP of HR will serve as a true Business Partner and provide HR support, guidance and advice on a variety of HR functions with a heavy emphasis on talent and rewards programs. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate closely with global HR leadership at the various business units to provide critical support in executing strategic initiatives, managing projects, and overseeing operations with business unit
Oversees the performance management process through partnerships with management and leadership to develop Succession Planning and Talent Management initiatives
Lead and oversee global annual HR programs, leadership development, and organizational development needs across multiple business units
Lead and manage health, welfare and retirement plan strategy acting as a fiduciary for the 401(k) plans across all business units
Lead and oversee bonus and compensation program cycles with leaders at all levels of the organization
Develop, implement, and lead Corporate HR metrics using HRIS platform
Develops and implements training plans to support team member development including compliance, technical skills, and leadership skills. Ensures high quality training delivery and training tracking per company standards.
Oversee consistency and accuracy of HR KPI as well as actions to ensure improvement trends
Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximizing productivity, evolving HR responsibilities, and building leadership capability

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Depth of experience supporting a corporate client group is required
Specific experience leading compensation and benefits functions is required
Manufacturing, production, multisite retail, or distribution industry experience is preferred
Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience
