Panama is one of the most modern and safe cities in Latin America. It serves as the region's business, commerce, finance, and logistics center. Panama is also blessed with beaches in two oceans, natural parks, historic sites, culture, and a dynamic nightlife, among many other touristic highlights.


Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Corporate Sales Account Executive—NY Metro Area at Copa Airlines. The Executive will manage and grow corporate customer accounts in the New York Metro Area. They will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, and achieve revenue targets.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote work environment
  • Knowledge of the airline industry and travel industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field


Key Responsibilities:

·        Proactively identify and capitalize on revenue growth opportunities among corporate customers in the assigned territory, leveraging experience with Global and Local Travel Management Companies (TMCs).

·        Support introducing and developing new station initiatives, including targeted marketing campaigns.

·        Develop and nurture relationships with local and global corporate accounts to achieve revenue targets.

·        Build a strong network within the local market by engaging with business associations and hosting relevant events and customer programs.


Experience Required:

·        Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience in the airline or related travel industry.

·        Demonstrated success in managing corporate accounts, including Fortune 500 companies, with a proven ability to increase revenue and secure new business opportunities.

·        Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.


Skills:

·        Exceptional relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

·        Strategic solid acumen with the ability to analyze data, develop actionable plans, and identify growth opportunities for Copa Airlines in the designated territory.

·        Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including advanced spreadsheet and word processing software skills.

·        Effective territory management using CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.).

·        Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities and a commitment to innovation, diversity, and teamwork.

·        Familiarity with Copa Airlines, corporate business practices, and the airline or travel industry is preferred.

·        Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) preferred.


Other Details:

·        Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 annually, plus a monthly transportation stipend and potential profit-sharing opportunities after tenure. (NYS requirement for Salary, etc., may be eliminated for internal posting)

·        Preferred to reside in the New York tri-state area with reliable transportation or ability to travel to the area regularly.

·        Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm; occasional extended hours may be required.

·        Some domestic and international overnight travel will be necessary.
