Corporate Information Technology Manager

Proper Hospitality is seeking an experienced Corporate Information Technology Manager to join our team in Los Angeles.

Reporting into the Vice President of IT, the Corporate IT Manager will be responsible for assisting in oversight of all IT operations across our portfolio. This includes managing the IT infrastructure, ensuring data security and leading IT projects that enhance our operational efficiency and guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the management, maintenance and enhancement of the IT infrastructure across all hotel properties
• Ensure the reliable operation of all IT systems, including servers, networks and software applications

Data Security and Compliance

• Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect sensitive information
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as GDPR and PCI-DSS

Project Management

• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency

Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms for our hotels

Technical Support

• Provide high-level technical support and guidance to hotel IT teams and corporate team
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues in a timely manner

Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with Proper Hospitality's overall business objectives
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network management and data security
• Proven experience in managing and delivering IT projects
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to IT challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
