Job Title: Corporate Finance Analyst

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Analyst to join our team and support our corporate finance activities. The Corporate Finance Analyst will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support strategic business decisions, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, providing insights into key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and benchmark performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Evaluate capital budgeting proposals, investment opportunities, and business cases, analyzing financial feasibility and potential returns.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, operations, and strategy, to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes, accounting standards, and industry best practices affecting corporate finance functions.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CFA certification preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Corporate Finance Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and trends, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and corporate finance principles (NPV, IRR, DCF).
  • Experience with financial systems (ERP), business intelligence tools, and financial planning software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
