Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Finance Analyst to join our team and support our corporate finance activities. The Corporate Finance Analyst will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.
Roles And Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support strategic business decisions, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, providing insights into key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and benchmark performance.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Evaluate capital budgeting proposals, investment opportunities, and business cases, analyzing financial feasibility and potential returns.
Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, operations, and strategy, to align financial goals with business objectives.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Stay informed about regulatory changes, accounting standards, and industry best practices affecting corporate finance functions.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CFA certification preferred).
Proven experience as a Corporate Finance Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.
Ability to interpret financial data and trends, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and corporate finance principles (NPV, IRR, DCF).
Experience with financial systems (ERP), business intelligence tools, and financial planning software.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
