Corporate Controller, 225K+250K+Bonus (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Controller to join our client’s dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public accounting and have a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience. The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**This position will have a defined path to the CFO role within 3 years**

This is a Hybrid position and in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and WFH Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to executive leadership.
• Manage and optimize cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and optimize tax strategies.
• Oversee financial reporting processes, including GAAP and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any audit issues.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, including direct and indirect reports.
• Manage a corporate team of 10 finance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Strong background in public accounting, preferably within a Big Four firm.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred but open to candidates from other industries.
• Proficiency in tax and treasury functions is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $225,000 annually, depending on experience.
• Eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 15% of annual salary.
