Role Overview
As the Corporate Contract Procurement Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies. Your responsibilities include fostering strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and promoting sustainable procurement practices. This pivotal role ensures cost-effectiveness and operational excellence across our supply chain.

Demonstrate deep understanding of strategic supply chain initiatives and operational requirements.
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) within supply chain contexts.
Apply performance improvement tools such as Lean methodology, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem-solving techniques.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
Negotiate pricing agreements and contracts to secure favorable terms for the organization.
Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Oversee creation and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
What You'll Need
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration); MBA preferred.
Eight or more years of direct experience in manufacturing and supply chain management.
Strong knowledge and experience in commodity management.
Proven success in managing quality-related programs across multiple sites.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of management.
Prior experience in telecommunication, defense, aerospace, or similar industries preferred.
Professional membership (e.g., APICS, CPIM) preferred.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 35%.
Physical Requirements
Extended periods of desk-based work and computer usage.
Occasional standing required during trade shows, customer visits, and manufacturing facility tours.
Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
