Our client is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to join their team in Seattle, Washington. This candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the brand image and maintaining effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will be responsible for creating and delivering clear, engaging, and consistent messages and supporting programs and initiatives that reflect the values, promote services, and enhance the reputation of the company.
Duties
- Develop and execute communications strategies that promote the company's reputation across internal and external audiences
- Responsible for daily monitoring of the company newsroom and media hotline including responding to and routing incoming inquiries promptly and professionally
- Manage on-site media visits and media events including management of scheduling, permitting, and badging
- Create compelling content for a variety of communication channels including press releases and company social media accounts
- Ensure messaging aligns with the company's strategic goals and brand identity
- Support internal communication efforts to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the priorities and culture
- Track and analyze communication effectiveness through metrics and analytics tools
- Use data to develop monthly department performance reports
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of experience in public relations, employee communications, and/or corporate communications
- Strong writing and editing skills are a must
- Must demonstrate experience in developing, collaborating, and implementing project plans with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated media relations and social media expertise
- Minimum age of 18
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
