Join our team as a Corporate Communications Specialist to oversee and develop external and internal communication programs that support EMI’s mission and strategic objectives.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, this is an exempt level position.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication strategies aligning with EMI’s brand identity and objectives.
Manage content creation and distribution across social media, newsletters, websites, and reports.
Handle media relations, including press releases and media inquiries.
Execute public relations campaigns to enhance the company’s image.
Develop internal communication strategies to engage and inform employees.
Collaborate with departments like marketing, HR, legal, and senior management.
Effectively communicate the company culture, values, vision, and goals to employees, clients, and the public.
Overcome challenges, settle disputes, and resolve dilemmas with innovative solutions.
Create and edit health plan documents.
Write and edit internal and external correspondence.
Write and collaborate with marketing to create newsletter copy for members, providers, employees, and blog posts.
Oversee the company website and social media.
Support the board of directors by preparing meeting materials and packets and taking minutes.
Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with various departments and teams.
