Job Summary

PatientPoint is looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Director to join our team. We’re looking for a hands-on strategic communicator and storyteller to amplify PatientPoint’s brand and SMEs in market. The successful candidate has extensive experience in public relations, communication strategy and corporate communications, as well as a passion for developing relationships with media. This person must be a strategic yet tactical cross-functional collaborator. Moreover, the right candidate is an exceptional writer and messaging expert, with a keen ability to translate complex healthcare and technology concepts into accessible messages to distinct audiences. You will work across many teams to identify and develop a consistent cadence of stories that help move the needle for us as a brand, thought leader and company. You will be responsible for building relationships with key media outlets and identifying earned opportunities to further our message and brand position in market. You will also craft external communication strategies across public relations, marketing communications, social media, events and speaking opportunities that amplify PatientPoint’s leadership in the market. In this role, you will also oversee internal communication strategies and programs that help grow employee engagement with the support of our Internal Communications Manager, whom you will manage. You will also support our executive team and business unit leaders with leadership communication and associate enablement communications. In addition, you will manage the relationship with PatientPoint’s external PR agency.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic communications plan, partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies to drive brand and business metrics. Use communications strategies to connect with key audiences, build our company image and drive interest in our company and purpose.
  • Build and execute an enterprise-level thought leadership platform, identifying relevant SMEs and KOLs to leverage to amplify PatientPoint’s voice in market. Develop compelling content to establish and reinforce PatientPoint’s point of view on various topics relevant to all sides of our business.
  • Reimagine our social media strategy, defining objectives, goals, strategies and measures and executing tactical plan accordingly.
  • Manage our PR agency to:
  • Grow our media presence.
  • Cultivate media and influencer relationships, build interest and coverage, imagine and pitch compelling stories.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends and provide strategic counsel and recommendations to senior leadership on communication strategies and tactics.
  • Represent the organization to the media, investors and other external stakeholders. When appropriate, serve as the primary spokesperson for the company.
  • Manage crisis communications, M&A activity communications and executive communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, human resources, legal and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and communication efforts.
  • Develop and oversee internal communications strategy, translating enterprise and business group activities into relevant messaging and enablement tools.


What We Need 

  • 15+ years of work experience in public relations, communication strategy and/or corporate communications (experience within healthcare preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful internal and external communication strategies

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize urgent and important initiatives effectively, especially in stressful and ambiguous situations


Base Salary Band: $103,060.50 - $149,812.50

Annual Bonus: 10%
