Draft transaction agreements and documents, negotiate deal terms, manage transaction closings and processes, conduct thorough factual and legal research and analysis.
Representation includes private equity and venture capital funds, public and private companies, ranging from family-owned businesses to multinational corporations to startups, and bank and non-bank lenders.
Communicate with clients and supervising attorneys, and overseeing more junior team members.
Practice areas encompass venture, growth, and other financings, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, corporate, LLC and partnership formation, and corporate partnering, joint venture, and strategic alliance arrangements.
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, debt finance, and general corporate matters
Admission to the Illinois State Bar or preparation for admission through reciprocity.
