The vision of the Global Business Marketing Team is to create a global brand that amplifies our mission and establishes TikTok as a unique and critical investment for the industry we serve. TikTok's Global Brand Studio produces business entertainment that promotes TikTok-first thinking, servicing global business marketing teams and regional business marketing teams through a scalable approach. The studio is comprised of world-class production experts, designers, and events professionals dedicated to showing our agency partners and clients how best to show up on TikTok. We have a passion for, and deep knowledge of TikTok as a platform, and are full of ideas that will help propel the platform into the future.

The Global Brand Studio Copywriter will be responsible for writing compelling copy for some of TikTok's most influential B2B campaigns and event moments.

The Copywriter will be responsible for ensuring creativity and joy are central to everything we make and put out into the industry ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a versatile, creative writer with proven experience crafting copy for things like: live event scripts, marketing collateral, social media, video, experiential activations as well as for a variety of types of marketing campaigns. This role requires an understanding of the experiential marketing landscape, along with a strong drive to inject wit, grab attention, and drive readers to action. Key candidates will have knowledge of B2B events and familiarity with major tentpoles and industry events like CES, AdWeek, Cannes Lions, SXSW, and Newfronts.

This position reports to the Supervising Creative Director.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Creative Development, Design, and Events teams to write clear, sharp, and creative copy for a wide variety of marketing campaigns, initiatives, and experiential events
- A passion for cultural trends both on and off of the TikTok platform, and an understanding of how to shape these insights to meet a business purpose or objective
- Interpret briefs from stakeholders and partners to understand project requirements for campaigns and major tentpole events
- Ideate and concept for a range of executions, with the ability to articulate strategy, set a creative vision, and pitch ideas to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
- Creative flexibility and expertise writing stage scripts, video scripts, experiential copy, website copy, and lots of things in between
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and departments on large- or small-scale marketing projects when necessary (e.g. email campaigns, landing pages, hype video, tentpole marketing industry events)
- Translate ad products and services into understandable and interesting language that encourages audiences to interact and engage
- Edit and proofread copy as needed, giving direction to third party partners or other internal writers
- Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Attend project meetings and presentations to provide creative input and address any copy-related concerns or challenges
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Global Brand Studio disciplines and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution of projects
- Conduct post-project evaluations and analyze feedback to continuously improve our messaging
- Provide accurate and frequent status reporting to Supervising Creative Director and within Global Brand Studio team

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a copywriter with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept development, creative writing, and ability to maintain brand voice and tone.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
- Great organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Agency and marketing experience preferred.

Job Information:

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $96000 - $140000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
