Copywriter - Beauty

Adecco Creative & Marketing is seeking a creative, driven, and organized Beauty Writer/Beauty Content Creator to join our clients team. This role involves creating engaging, informative, and on-trend content for the professional beauty industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver beauty content across multiple platforms, supporting company initiatives. This is an opportunity to share your expertise, educate our audience, and contribute to the growth and awareness of our clients brand.

Responsibilities:

• Pitch, research, and write compelling stories relevant to the professional beauty industry. This includes evergreen articles, timely features, and trend dissections across beauty, wellness, and culture. Responsibilities include photo research, expert outreach, art requests, and incorporating edits from the editor.
• Write content supporting the brand’s monthly community and promotional priorities. Edit and proofread stories, including SEO optimization and enhancing diverse model imagery.
• Ensure high editorial standards, accuracy, and diversity/representation in image assets and experts featured.
• Optimize content for search engines to maximize organic traffic.
• Regularly update digital content for freshness, relevancy, and accuracy.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for editorial tentpoles, digital magazines, packages, and DEIB initiatives.
• Create and capture content on-site at national/regional trade shows and events.
• Perform monthly content analytics review and translate reports into actionable next steps.
• Build content in a proprietary content management system.
• Assist with ad hoc administrative and editorial duties.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content alignment with brand voice and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date and maintain communication with LUSA Legal regarding FTC content guidelines.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in and knowledge of the professional beauty space.
• Proficient in crafting engaging, concise, and grammatically flawless content for digital and social platforms.
• Strong research skills to gather information from credible sources, interview subjects, and distill topics into digestible, relevant content.
• Understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research, optimization, and analytics tools.
• Ability to generate innovative ideas, angles, and approaches to stand out in a crowded beauty landscape.
• Ability to adapt to last-minute changes in schedules and planning.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding environment.
