We are looking for a Copywriter with experience writing mostly short form copy for multichannel media campaigns including TV/radio scripts, blog posts, white papers, landing pages, email, social media posts, digital display, search, press releases, ads, postcards, flyers, and brochures.
This is unique and often rare opportunity to work for a company that creates everything in-house. Not one thing is outsourced to agencies, which means project variety and even the juiciest projects are done internally!
What you need to qualify:
- 3+ years of copywriting experience in advertising or marketing agency or an internal agency where you’re writing across channels and not dedicated to one channel only.
- Aside from being a good writer, we also need you to be a good editor and proofreader able to add new spins to existing materials, polish content authored by non-writers and proofing the work for grammar, typographical and other errors.
- A strong portfolio or samples demonstrating your work across multiple touchpoints and a wide assortment of projects that might include radio, tv, scripts, video, print/digital ads, blogs, social media posts, website copy, landing pages, email, direct mail, and more!
Responsibilities
- Concept, pitch, and produce consumer-friendly content for a range of digital marketing assets from blogs and white papers to landing pages, email, social media, digital display, search, video, press releases, ads, postcards, flyers and brochures.
- Carry your ideas from concept to execution working under direction from marketing leaders, creative directors, strategists, account managers, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present work to leadership for approval.
- Become an expert in the organization’s products, enablement and customer needs.
- Innovate creative by identifying and executing on latest industry trends, approaches, and techniques.
Other Requirements:
- Portfolio of work demonstrating your ability to conceive ideas and write various content types for diverse audiences across all digital marketing platforms.
- Experience in digital ad copywriting and SEO.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and using project management software.
- BA in Journalism, Marketing/Advertising, Creative Writing or English is preferred.
